The words that best describe 2004 for the Sherwoods were "stress" and "unsettled." The family remodeled its house while living in it — six months of jackhammers, missing walls, and take-out dinners — served as caregivers for an aging Aunt Betty, and navigated Keith's term as Chair of the Board at church during one of the most tumultuous years in its memory. Individually there were great vacations; as a family, none. All in all, everyone was just as glad to see 2004 go.
