One more half day, and the beam was successfully installed without the house
collapsing. The back sliding glass door, removed while the jacks needed
clearance and poked into the house, has been reinstalled and connected to
the wall board near to it with sheet plastic. The side yard slab is pressed into service immediately as storage area. |

Temporary plumbing
around I beam will stay until it gets rerouted permanently
. |

The beam is in, but not yet bolted securely on this end of the house. Notice
tree in background declaring that it is spring by flowering.

Sliding glass door is back in, but notice daylight between I beam bottom
and back wall above shutters. No wonder the false wall has plastic sheeting
as well. |
