The wooden forms are around the foundation. Re-bar and sand are
in the floor area, and re-bar is in the ditches. In California, we
see plastic fences around construction zones all the time; they're there
by law to control run off in the unlikely event of rain. In this case,
however, it was put up by our Contractor for the sole purpose in keeping
Dancer from impaling herself on the up-thrusting re-bar inside the fence. |

A layer of black plastic was laid on the ground, then a layer of sand,
and finally the re-bar tied in a grid. |

The view from our back door.
Obviously, we've lost the use of it. |

The fence worked: Dancer was completely befuddled by it. She never
tried to leap it or go through it. Good dog. Smart contractor. |
